Thought this was really beautiful and totally appropriate for the upcoming Thanksgiving Long Weekend.
What are you grateful for?
Blessed be the Earth for giving birth to this food
Blessed be the Sun for nourishing it
Blessed be the Wind for carrying its seed
Blessed be the Rain for quenching its thirst.

Save the Endangered Programs!
In the midst of decreased funding for some its most popular and effective programs, Mission Community Services is hoping for help from the community. Their 19th annual Dream Auction, to be held on November 7, 2009, is one way that individuals, businesses and organizations who care about preserving these endangered programs can help. This year, the Dream Auction will be held at the Kingsway Arms at Cedarbrooke Chateau, and will include a full-course banquet, entertainment, and an array of items to bid on in a Live and Silent Auction.
