CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Modifications and variations are given throughout all classes to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. All classes include breath work/pranayama, postures/asana and guided meditation/relaxation.
YOGAFLOW
Ready to re-charge? Sometimes called “Vinyasa”, Postures flow from one pose to the next in “breath synchronized movement.” The smooth way that the poses run together offer an energized body and calm mind . This class is both revitalizing and relaxing and can help with weight loss.
- Class Length: 75 minutes
- Mixed Levels: Everyone welcome. Class will accomodate students at different stages of practice. Lots of modifications and variations are given throughout.
- Intermediate Level: Recommended for students who have a minimum of 6 months of experience practicing yoga. Classes will include advanced postures, and will also have variations and modifications.
HATHA YOGA
A variety of yoga postures designed to encompass all students. Classes offer a combination of relaxing, rejuvenating poses and some challenging postures, using the tools of breath work, movement and mindfulness.
- Class Length: 75 minutes
- Mixed Levels: Everyone welcome. Class will accomodate students at different stages of practice. Lots of modifications and variations are given throughout. Classes vary from week to week with lots of variety.
PREGNANCY YOGA
Gentle stretching and toning yoga postures and exercises to help you connect with your baby and enhance your pregnancy and labour. Classes include breathing exercises and relaxation conducive to pregnancy. Mums must be at least 14 weeks along and have their health care provider’s consent to register. Suitable for those new to yoga as well as experienced yoginis.
